Sell our best players at bargain bucket prices to replace with Leeds United reserves- great ambition. I look forward to selling him for £2m when we turn him into a world beater after this seasons relegation
Just had a look on his wiki page as ive never heard of him and someone has changed it to Barnsley already.
Aapo Halme, 21, top of the 21-year-old football team in Finland, permanently leaves Leeds United in the British Championship. According to HS's source, Halmee's new club is Barnsley FC, who returned to the Championship series after playing one season at the Ykkösliig. Barnsley FC bought Halmeen from Leeds United and signed a three-year contract with him. Not long ago, Halme doesn't have to change the landscape, as Barnsley is only about 30 miles south of Leeds. Halme was transferred to HJK to Leeds United in January 2018 for four and a half year contract. According to HS, Leeds United paid EUR 560,000 to Halme from Hesse. HALME played a total of 143 minutes in only four Championship matches in Leeds United for a period of one and a half seasons, and he also played in an English Cup match. Halme gets to Barnsley to learn German head coach Daniel Stendel. Stendel became Barnsley's head coach in June 2018, and the German's first season in Barnsley ended with an upheaval. Stendel previously coached the German Society in Hannover 96 from April 2016 to March next year.
Along similar lines to two years ago when Pinnock's signing was announced on the same day as Marc Roberts' transfer to Birmingham City?
Pure speculation on my part but I suspect they'll do something like that in an attempt to cushion the blow.
If you're talking about Marc Roberts, I agree with you and be quite happy were we to bring him back to the club.
