    mate who’s a Barnsley fan setup the brewery with 3 other friends around 3 years ago and they’ve had a cafe bar in Wakefield for the last couple of years. Now opened in Barnsley too, will be popping in for a few this season that’s for sure!

    Loved the Alehouse so big shoes to fill in my opinion. Hope they do a good job and don't change it too much.

    Good venue was Arcade Alehouse. Nice and compact and always changing their beers and keeping the price fixed.

    Hope it is kept the same way.

    Rarely been more than half a dozen in last few times Ive been in.

    Arcade beer shop just isnt big enough.
    Surely with all the empty premises in Barnsley Town Centre there is a sizeable shop that can be converted into something suitable.
    There is definitely potential in Barnsley Centre for something that sells real ale.
    Cos there’s nowt adequate there at the moment.

    Brahmas - yer can never guarantee that there is any decent stuff on - and if there is it ‘often runs out after you’ve had your second pint.
    No 7 - too narrow - nowhere to sit - not a comfortable place to have drink.
    SIlkstone - full of alcoholics.

    Arcade only opens 3 days a week so can’t see it moving to a bigger venue
