    apart from an occasional glance on twitter or here on my phone I havent been paying much attention to the world or football whilst I have been on my jollies - Last player I saw leaving us was Pinnock - with rumours of Moore going but so far I cant see that happened. but I see we signed some players - anyone got a summary to save me trawling through the last week or so of posts?

    Messi has been playing in a league that's not comparable to the Championship and our recruitment team have no clue on the abilities of players they're signing so we have no idea if he's going to be good enough.

    Serves me right for asking - had to trawl the official site to see we signed 3 players last week and a goal keeping coach. Only player I had actually heard of was Wilks who I cant say I am too happy about. for none footballing reasons.

    We’ve lost Pinnock which is a blow & it looks likely we could lose Moore as well which would also be a blow.

    We’ve signed lots of players but no one knows whether we’ve recruited well or not as apart from Wilks I don’t think many of us have seen much / anything of the others.

    After Ethan Pinnock was sold, we brought in defenders Toby Sibbick (from AFC Wimbledon), Aapo Halme (Leeds), Bambo Diaby (Lokeren) & winger/forward Mallik Wilks (Leeds). We appointed Kevin Pilkington from Cambridge United as goalkeeping coach and won 5-0 in a preseason friendly at Stalybridge (Woodrow 2, Mowatt, Green & Styles scored the goals).
    Transfer gossip has us enquiring after Moussa Kone (Dynamo Dresden) & Conor Chaplin (Coventry City), with Kieffer Moore supposedly attracting interest from Bristol City.
    Another than that, it's been really quiet, Dave, old mate. You haven't missed much(!):D:D

    Bristol City have gazzumped us on every player we've looked at.
    So with all the ten players we've sold it currently leaves us with Kieffer Moore in goal, defence, midfield and up front. And he's thinking of joining his maternal paternal great grand cousin in China.
