    Exactly - £3m for Pinnock looks a good fee. £5.5m for Jansson is cheap.

    It’s not what about folk think their value is, it’s what the market at any one point is willing to pay.

    Good pairing that - should be a solid defence if they remain fit.

    Be a tough ask, but if they keep hold of their better attackers like Maupay and Watkins they're going to be a good shout for the Play-Offs.

    Totally agree. Keep Maupay and they should be a top 6 team. Although I think he’s off to Sheff Utd.

    It's about right for both wouldn't say 5.5 million is cheap for jannson. My mate a Leeds season ticket holder says jannson was great 2 seasons back but said he wasn't as good last season still don't think he wanted to get shut mind.

    Jannson seems to be a bit if a character so will be a perfect pairing with Pinnock who is more reserved. I wonder if Ethan got told these plans before he signed, seems like he may be at a club now that has a chance of play offs.

    I get the feeling Jansson is a bad egg me, wouldn’t be surprised if this was Bielsa’s decision in all honesty.

    I don’t think it’s a good of a signing as everyone thinks.

    Maybe, I was surprised no-one else was sniffing round him at that price. Although I would have said the same thing about Pinnock at £3m, so who knows...

    There's more than meets the eye regarding this situation with Brentford. A Wednesday fan at work says they're a model club and everyone should be run in the same way. I'm sure there's a £50m black hole somewhere and within five years it's going to swallow them up.

    It does. A player is only worth what they’re worth. I personally don’t think Pinnock was worth much more than £3m anyway. Jansson’s fee shows that.
