Barnsley named their squad for their pre-season campaign, but there was a notable absentee from the squad list, with Kieffer Moore not being named in Daniel Stendel’s team (Bristol Post, 8th July, 12:40pm). Moore was a key player for Stendel’s side last season, scoring 17 goals in League One as they won promotion back into the Championship at the first time of asking. That statistic looks even more impressive when you see that the forward missed a number of games through injury midway through their league campaign. Stendel will be hoping that he can keep hold of his key men, and Moore certainly falls into that category. It has previously been reported by the Daily Mail, that Bristol City were long-term admirers of the striker, and could be tempted to reignite their interest in signing Moore before the transfer window closes. The Robins have already signed a number of players to strengthen their squad ahead of new Championship season, and could be tempted to add to their attacking options. It has also been revealed by Get French Football News, that Bristol City striker, Famara Diedhiou is wanted by Neil Warnock’s Cardiff City, as they look to win promotion back into the Premier League. ADVERTISING This could mean that Lee Johnson’s side are in the market to sign a striker, and Moore could be top of their wish list. The Verdict: This will be a real worry for Barnsley supporters heading into the new season. 00:00 / 00:50 00:00 Moore was key to their promotion last term, and without him, they looked like a completely different team who lacked cutting edge in front of goal. It’ll be interesting to see if Bristol City are to reignite their interest in him, and if they do, it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see him leave Stendel’s side. 1 Food that really harms your gut - to be avoidedGutHealth Advisor| Sponsored UK Casinos Don't Expect You To Find These Bonuses, But They Can't Stop YouOnline Casino| Sponsored Time Has Not Been Kind to Martial Artist Bolo Yeung At 72Novelodge| Sponsored One Cup of This (Before Bed) Burns Belly Fat Like Crazy!Foodprevent| Sponsored 31 Years Later, Kevin Bacon Makes a Brave Confession About His MarriageInvestmentGuru| Sponsored Is Weight Loss Surgery Right for You?Shape Keto| Sponsored RELATED TOPICS:KIEFFER MOORETHE ROBINSTHE TYKES UP NEXT Slaven Bilic issues update on West Brom transfer business DON'T MISS Jack Ross makes honest admission regarding Sunderland’s transfer position Jacob Potter Editorial Assistant at Snack Media, writing for Football League World on a regular basis! I could win the Lottery tonight, and that could mean Rita Ora could be in my bed before the weekend. FLW is utter clickbait, run by Leeds scum.
He's got two years on his contract and even signing Kone wouldn't be a like for like signing, so would leave us lightweight up front. We shouldn't be feeling pressure to sell him.
I think Woodrow can do it on his own if played in a three. However, if it's a two up top I'd like the see Kieffer stay or at least sign another target man. You have to factor in does Moore want to leave? Does Stendel favour a target man style system. Does Stendel want to use any proceeds to shape his squad further?
We have to hope that he can play a big part in our efforts to stay in the Championship. Therefore I hope the Board reject approaches from other teams and are able to persuade him that his future is best served by staying at Barnsley.
I think he'll be off Donny Red. He didn't go on tour with the rest of the squad and hasn't been involved at all so far.
We will just have to wait and see SD. Totally agree with some of the previous comments in that we would be barmy to let him go, until such times as we have lined a suitable replacement up to take his place.
Well I for one am truly gutted after reading that...after all this time and I never knew that a cup of green tea before bed could help you lose belly fat
Stupid situation all round. Full of ifs and buts and only three weeks to the new season. Fly him out to France and keep hold for goodness sake.
Could Kieffer be suffering from recurrent conncusion symptoms or are there reasons why this wouldn't be the case.
There could be any number of reasons for his not being with the squad. He did say to me first hand that everything was as it should be regarding his head injury but they just said injured as to why he wasnt playing at Stalybridge didnt they?
Could it be his missus is preggers and about to give birth anytime soon Could it be he's the championship player who's supposedly coming out to being Gay... Mind you he did look happy last time I saw him in every sense of the word.. Could he have broken his finger nail Its anybodies guess until we hear anything official from the club Although if it wasn't anything but sinister the club would have made a statement on why he hasn't gone to France instead of leaving it up to the fans lol
