If we get him as a free agent and he tips the balance for us stopping up or not then there would surely a be profit in that if only indirectly
You picked a fine time to leave me, Luke Steele With four **** defenders and crap in midfield I've had some bad times, lived through some sad times But this time your hurting won't heal You picked a fine time to leave me, Luke Steele.
It's a fair point, but could you argue that the risk of spending money on players which turn out to be poor is an issue which face many clubs regardless of where you are shopping. Guess it becomes more of an issue if you are borrowing to buy though. Like you, I'm no expert.
Just been reading this on Twitter. Apparently Steele hasn't been told he can leave, but isn't traveling with the squad to Greece.
Ah right sorry mate, I get you now. Be interesting to see where we plan to play Sibbick. Think he started on the right in the last friendly.
Yes you’re right my friend if I’m honest I think Sibbock will be 3rd choice right back, 4th choice centre half so he’s here to learn, develop and fill in when called upon.
Stendel wants an experienced centre half. Big German Hefele would be a good shout on a short term deal Imo. Wages probably an issue tho
I’d imagine he’ll be between £10k to £20k per week at Forest so even a seasons loan with a decent contribution from us for wages I feel would be a beneficial signing for us.
Only if someone is willing to pay. As stated b4 Barnard. £8k pw.Tarn. Had to settle for £800 pw. Grimsby int end.
There is definite logic to buying experience to compliment the strategy of buying young players to sell on as they learn from that experience and it steadies them
