    It needs to be put into perspective these friendlies. Theyre not going to play at the same tempo as a real match. A lot of it is purely for match fitness.

    We will see. I don’t really buy the ‘it’s only a friendly’ thing. They’re still pro footballers doing their job, whether it’s about fitness or not.
    Ps it’s always funny how they’re not ‘just about fitness’ when we do well in them.

    Mads looks decent, Diaby looks a liability but it's early days. I've seen enough players look awful in preseason then have excellent seasons (and vice versa) to know not to judge on these games.
