They'll not charge us that much again if noone turns up. There's a bigger principle at stake here. I can afford to go. I'll miss not going. I lived in Hillsborough for years, this is the match I look out for. So should I just go? No because not everyone can afford to go especially families. We are letting them down in my opinion if enough of us go that it allows Wednesday to think they can keep charging us this much. Also you get a restricted view there with them posts. For nearly £40. The reason they can continue to do this is because the market allows it ie people that accept the price and go. Don't do it!!
True but then you have to get upto Hillsborough and all the time extra time that will take. The coach will be more convenient for some
Will we sell out the full allocation? Will there be any left when it goes on general sale on 5thAug? I'm coming back for that one and I need four tickets. Anybody got a line into the club so's I can deffo get four tickets? I ain't flying around the globe to stand outside Hillsborough to make a statement about the prices.
At those prices in 16/17 and 17/18 we sold 2,500 (Tuesday night) and 2,100 respectively. The initial allocation will go and we'll be charged the same or more next season as a result.
It's people like you that are the real victims of these clubs in this division. They know you will go anyway because you love following your team. Its tricky for me as I can afford to go but just feel its wrong to pay so much. But how this feels for our fans now is why I hate the fact we charge the same back. Sheffield Wednesday fans have no say in the pricing so not only are they stuck paying it at home they get charged it at oakwell too. Its the football fan that suffers.
I’ve just paid the same amount for 3 night and days worth of quality music up the road at hillsborough park for the tramlines festival 40 quid is too much for 90 minutes of football I won’t be going
Due to ticketing prices, I've only ever been to Elland Road once, but I live close to Hillsborough - I can't live within walking distance and not go. It wouldn't be right, though I despise the cost and won't give them a penny extra.
