Made me dread the season now. Everything else is fine in my opinion but Jesus that sibbick cannot start next week. Thought Anderson was better of a bad bunch.

Hopefully it’s just a typical pre season either that or am gonna be jumping of worsborough bridge by time we play the fowls.

Take it you didn't watch any of the game? We're playing a Fulham side next week who are as good if not better than the team the Blunts fielded today.

I'm optimistic about our attacking prowess, but a brand new defence coming up against the likes of Knockaert, Mitrovic and Cairney....

To be honest, that defense was about as poor as I've ever seen for us.

Sibbick doesn't seem to be able to read the game at all.

It drums home even more that it's a vital few days to get in an experienced defender before the window shuts.

I thought the two centre backs looked decent, particularly Diaby. Worried about full back though. Hopefully Cavare and Pinnilos can start next week.

Not good defensively, needs a lot of work.
No one appears to be taking control and marshalling players around.
We also hoofed it more than I’d like but the blunts did press well.
And as for them, I expect them too be back in the championship very soon

I’m aware we’re playing Fulham next week. I’m aware they’re a top quality side who are as good as if not better than Sheff Utd.

Im also aware that it was a friendly and that the season consists of 46 games against 23 other teams half of whom are no where near as good as Fulham.

Losing 4-1 today is an obvious wake up call but to start dreading a season and potentially heading for bridges after what Fulham ‘might’ do to us is a little bit over the top.

I hate to been seen as slating players, I know it's only a friendly but sibbick, wow. I don't know what's been seen to have signed him, absolutely dreadful he's got a hell of a lot to learn to be playing even league football.

thought they outplayed us. we had a good 15 mins second half and scored s well worked goal.
bambo and mads looked strong but sibbick looked out of position and weak.
Chaplin will be a real asset. pace tricky and a great left foot. Thomas also. think we'll be ok.
blunts were a class above us. personally don't think Fulham will be as strong / well organised as they're in transition.

If he's in the the back four we will get hammered, doesn't seem to have any clue.

A new defence will take time to gel. Everyone knows that. We can't do anything about that as we sold our defence. Another signing would be part of the same problem. But I thought we might have signed a defensive midfielder to try to protect them. Seems remiss not to.

Yes, especially as Dougall is probably still some way to match fitness. Even if it's someone on loan, it would make sense.

This is it pinnilos and cavare are surely our 1st choice full backs I'd also say halme was a 1st choice centre back but none started because of injury?
