    Lad at side of me thought same it looked like advertising boards were moved futher back to widen pitch a bit

    That’s exactly what I thought, it did seem to be holding the water more than previous seasons.

    It’s not often it puts that much water down in a relatively short space of time Wouldn’t read too much into excess surface water today. Drove back from the east coast today. South York’s was just like a continuous waterfall from the M18 back up the A1 and all way into Tarn
