That's the most worrying thing as far as I'm concerned that DS hasn't yet committed to a longer contract. With his wife and family back in Germany though, I can understand why that is the case. If he has a good season and keeps us up, he might well be hoping that a German side approaches him with a view to a contract. David Wagner doesn't seem to have suffered following Huddersfields poor showing under his custodianship, as he landed a plum job for three years with Bundesliga side Schalke 04.
David Wagner did a great job with Huddersfield. He got them into the premier league and to stay there. I think if hed have felt like he wanted to stay hed have been backed. Tbh the length of contract for Stendel doesn't bother me . If he wants to stay he will if he doesn't he wont. At the risk of sounding repetitive he is an ambitious guy, who enjoys being a coach and manager. I think he ll stay with us for as long as he feels he can improve our position.
