All those stats are completely pie in the sky anyway. Firstly, when we vote at the ballot box it is confidential. No data can be bought or sold over voter details to correlate any such stats. Purely based on a very small number people who opt to complete surveys. Makes me laugh when I see things like most people who voted leave or remain were this or that, same way as people claiming the country are now in favour of remain. Says who? A number of people who want to remain who filled out a survey. Until otherwise proven, the only stat that counts is the last time we voted on the issue which obviously was to leave. I know of more people who voted remain who think the vote should be respected and would vote leave in any repeat vote than I do those who voted to leave who have changed their minds. Laughable YouGov stats.
I'm not sure you're aware of how modern data gathering is done by many of the large poll companies and many of the aggregators they use. Scraping, gamification and social media monitoring have been common for quite a few years now. And there have been various instances of mobile phone operators allowing their secure networks to be accessible in a certain time snapshot around a certain hotspot. So every piece of data on a switched on device (yes, imagine that) downloaded, anonymised (allegedly) and then interrogated en masse. So stats aren't based on a tiny handful of people filling out a survey. They are based on far more cynical and sizeable methods.
I'm well aware of that mate, What meant was a new dimension in the art of mullering hence absolutely mullered opposed to just mullered.
Correct, his post has an alarming amount of condescension for a man taking his data collection information from 1980. @MDG I'd suggest some research into modern methods of data mining and analysis, as well as how its used. Particularly by those such as Bannon. Alarming stuff.
I feel that it is a fact that all the racist element of this country voted leave - why would they vote otherwise? It could easily account for the 1.4. million difference between the two sides. They, like the DUP have the balance of power - is it any wonder that racism is on the increase? Even more worryingly, I can see a situation that after Brexit the country will continue getting poorer - even fascist farridge doesn't believe we will be better off after all. Who will get the blame for this? The Tories? Labour? all politicians? Immigrants? Perhaps a mixture of all four, but my bet is the immigrants will get the brunt. We are on a downward cycle of right wing fascist type consequences. Stop Brexit.
It’s what the elite have strived for over the last hundred years since they gave us plebs the vote! Now go do something productive and buy your kid a puppy.
I wondered where it had come from as I didn't see any politics scheduled on Sunday at all...both Andrew Marr and Sunday Politics were off.
Yeah we fought for it and now they are taking it back but we are too scared to fight back. With the pound the rate it is I will need a rucksack for of money to buy the puppy.
Eventually we’ll have to dust off the boots and go put the southerner back in their place... Show your daughter this. https://www.champdogs.co.uk/litter/51437
Good point! Rather than the tax receipts from all the immigrant workers, let’s flush the economy instead. Fantastic plan; let’s create a country no one wants to come to - that’ll sort the (non existent) immigration problem.
Thats always going to be a topic that divides opinion in what do they contribute in terms of taxation. If they are unskilled and/or in jobs at the bottom of the payscale then the amount of tax they pay would be minimal. Now if you start at the upper ends of the payscale/skilled jobs then they would be paying a more significant level of tax. If those on the lower scale were eligable for and claimed tax credits etc based on their circumstances then they are not a positive contributor. What you have to remember is that a an overwhelming percentage of migrants have jobs that are zero hours and minimum wage.. If actual unbiased research was undertake n id hazard a guess that the figure would be around 'break even'
If a party wanting to move to the UK from say Romania having served a custodial sentence for manslaughter should they be allowed to migrate here? If a party has strong links to organised crime.. If a party is undocumented/forged documents...
You need to add into there the age factor. 73% of 18-24’s voted to remain and the age groups gradually decreased to 40% for 65+. Whilst it doesn’t alter the ‘educated’ results it massively questions the statement of people with more intelligence as the majority of the age groups never went to University or Higher education.
I havent. Ive answered it with a question. Or three. All the above. The 1st two especially can gain access to and right to remain the in the UK. No questions asked.
The damage was done way before the vote, which was why we had the vote in the first place, don’t forget Tony Blair promised a referendum in his campaign, this shows the discontent was already there already.
