It's been dragging on that long now I don't even really care. As long as we get some decent wedge and replace him with someone who's not Ivan Toney.
What are the folk that condescended to me saying that Pinnock had to leave because of 'the plan' with 1 year left on his contract going to say now? At just short of £3m we've been robbed (again) its just a shame its going to take a few losses for some to see how badly.
There are layers to this sale if it goes through: 1. Why are we selling our top scorer from last season? 2. Why are we selling him for less then half his value? 3. Why are we selling him to a league rival? This goes beyond what happened to us with Pinnock if it does go through.
Well I've always maintained that it would be a joke if he leaves for 3 million.. I completely understand cashing in on the under 12 month players but if this is correct then I don't get it and not happy about the timing either nor to a team who I reckon will be struggling this season in Wigan. Unless the offer is upwards of 5 million then that starts to make more sense, again on the proviso that someone is brought in using all that cash. for 3 million, this is defo one transfer that we should have refused point blank, re-assess our standing and his effectiveness come January transfer window.
