Yeah kieffer is a loss he gives us another option I would have liked to have kept him just hope we bring the right replacement in. As for Woodrow imo he has the potential to leave for a much bigger amount than kieffer has.
I’m still to see what others see in Toney. He helped us in L1, and I won’t knock the lad. But really, is he that good. Ashley Fletcher? Not done much since, but has the quality if backed and played right.
tony,,,fletcher,, lets say both are sold to us,, hmmm ahahahahahah lets all laugh be more than they worth,, i say kone
You never know Mr C, what with this coming out https://store.rhino.com/exclusives/dead-man-s-pop-4cd-1lp-deluxe-cassette.html Think you were sat near us at the Roundhouse gig a few years back!
Whatever we get for Moore we are not going to pay the same or near it for one player as we just do not pay the wages that go with that value a player. I don't get the comparisons between Cauley and Kieffer in this thread, they are different players who complement each other and the sum of the whole is greater than that of the parts. We really struggled imho when Cauley played up front on his own, not because he isn't a good player and not because he didn't continue to finish - he will always do that - but because he isn't a big, tough raw-boned centre forward who can unsettle the opposition defence and create time for us to bring on our forward press. I think we will rue not having that if Kieffer is let go. Selling to Wigan is also pretty ludicrous imho - how may clubs do we actually think we can finish above? Before the transfer window I'd have said that both Brentford and Wigan ought to have been amongst the handful who were on that list but we're allowing them to strengthen at our expense. In Stendel I trust but I do wonder what his thoughts on all this are really and as a supporter I am beginning to get miffed that yet again having grown to love a group of players and appreciate what they do through a division 1 promotion season I am robbed of the opportunity of seeing them having a season together giving it a real go in the same way in the Championship. History proves that teams which do best in the next league up are ones that have been kept together, with maybe one or two quality additions - it feels like we are almost going back to square one again.
So we have until Thursday to sign a replacement. There’s no loans either now in Champ after this date. However, I think it is obvious we’ve already sorted his replacement hence why Moore is going. Often the case that late transfers are due to the domino affect. Bradshaw went and we had Woodrow already lined up. I have faith this is the case this time too. No idea who though unless it’s Kone.
