Are you having a laugh?? He made a few token appearances at end of a season he wasn't even supposed to play in again. To compare bahre to him is a total joke!!!
Remember when we sold David Hirst to that lot down the road the day before a new season? Now that really did p!ss me off. To be honest, if you follow Barnsley, this is what happens. Meet the new boss and all that.
Ok I been harsh, but I just thought he wasn't the same player as he was before the injury. I said Brown and Bahre were attackers cos the way we play with Woodrow upfront and them been more attacking midfield, Chaplin and Mcgeechan can play them roles too
That’s ridiculous. He played about two hours of football after he came back, a lot of that in a dead rubber last game when we were down to ten men - which he scored in. Prior to his injury his record was tremendous. If we get £4million AND he is replaced using all or most of the money it might be good business - but to say he’s rubbish is nothing but a bare arsed lie
It's always gutting when a player who has had a bit of success here leaves the club, and 99% of he time it feels the transfer fee is too low. Thing is though, if the boot was on the other foot and it was us that were buying Moore off Wigan(and his form/season stats at Wigan was the same as last year(in L1)), would you think we had got good value or over paid at £3m?
So close season we’ve: 1. Lost our goalkeeper who won the joint golden gloves last year in the division we played (who was also captain) 2. Sold both centre halves who were part of the best defence in the league. 3. Sold our top scorer. 4 regular starters and key players. It remains to be seen if the players we’ve brought in to replace them can do. we should have been strengthening after a promotion, and I just don’t feel comfortable that we have. Who knows the players we’ve brought in may be better but we’ve spent less than half as much as we’ve received so they will be some bargains if they are.
Apart from the mid-upper lumbar section, we've managed to get rid of the spine of our team. Whilst knowing that we were playing next season in a higher league. How can any good come of this? If it does, Stendel is a magician.
i dont think km was due to play after his injury last season but was eased back toget game time just incase he was needed for the playoffs
If everything we make gets reinvested as Mr Conway keeps saying, we must have the funds to splash ten million on a player and still be in the black.
Do I think he has a say and is consulted on the strategy? Absolutely I do. Do I think he's bothered about Moore leaving and being able to bring in another striker? No way. I think he'll be supportive of it
