    Latics have confirmed the capture of Kieffer Moore from Barnsley on a three-year deal. Understand fee is £2.5m rising to £3m with add-ons



    As I said before.... just under 3 million.

    4 million was nonsense

    Hope he don’t do anything. Asked for the move and we rightfully move him on. We did everything for the lad too. People saying he won’t of got in team and he would of had his chance. Probably scared of competition and we don’t want players like that. Stuff him

    £2.5mn might be fair value but pretty poor cash for someone not in their final contract year. Disappointed we didn’t play hardball with this deal.

    Good business all round. Was a massive part of our promotion last year not just his goals but his defending, tracking back and passion. We move on but thanks for the memories Keiffer.

    Surely the benchmark was £4m Grigg to Sunderland, then multiply by 2.5, being the relative ratio of goals last season.

    Giddings also said 4million though and he is usually never wrong with our local teams so don't know who to believe mate. I trust the board have got a good fee for him and reinvest.

    So not sure what they've paid upfront but looks like we will get upto the 4 mark for him.
