    Hope he gets to Wigan with his agent, decides the extra grand a week he’s been promised over the phone isn’t worth it after he’s spoken to their manager properly, and has heard his plans for him, comes back to us and we tell him to **** off.

    I presume most of it went to cover operating losses last season. Another club buying players on the never-never. Although it sounds like the Pearce deal wasn't exactly expensive.

    Something drastic has happened for that to fall through. Just reading wiganlive on Twitter and they're saying he was seconds away from the deal being complete.

    As you know I only post what I get told and my guy is 'well in', but apologies for this.

    I'm assuming were into panic mode regarding that particular position now though, seen as the deal for him was all but done. I reckon were in for a mad 24 hours.
