    Not sure if EFL have same rules as PL. The PL certainly allow an extra 2hrs if a deal sheet has been submitted and authorised.

    Bit concerned we're half an hour past the deadline and nothing at all to be heard.

    The only problem with this post is that it wasn’t £4million, (it isn’t even guaranteed to be £3mil), and he wasn’t our best striker. Apart from that, fine. Other than there’s no evidence whatsoever that they’ve pocketed anything...

    I think they will still announce one or two signings - but there won’t be ‘trouble’ if they don’t.

    There’ll be a lot of moaning and whinging, a lot of it justified, but there will be no huge backlash on the club. What are we going to do? Charge the ponty end offices with a battering ram? Stay away (when we’ve already paid for st’s...)? Send a strongly worded letter to the daily mail?

    Strongly doubt they’ve done that, but even if we announce nobody, I absolutely guarantee they’ll be supported to the hilt on this board despite that.
