My son and I got tickets in the last 500. We have two spare places in our car. Without going all Richie Rich, its a BMW 5 series with aircon pan roof etc so not slumming it. Lift for two (three if one small) available from denby dale/penistone/oxspring/thurgoland/ wortley/deepcar areas. Plan is to get to Middlewood tram park and ride for about 1315, kill an hour at costa coffe behind leppings lane and be positioned for a quick get away. Don't want owt except to help another tarn fan

Ok I cant find anywhere else to go to kill an hour if we approach from middlewood end, no away fan pubs etc, been told if you get there after 1345 forget parking. If you take me up on my offer please feel free to wander round the very sub-standard asda across the road instead, going out staurday night so dont want to be stuck for hours in a car park. I was trying to make a genuine offer that I thought help a fellow reds fan. As they say, no good deed shall go unpunished. As for my correct use of english? Had to endure a Sandhurst remedial course to learn how to use the correct knife and fork with a psychotic drill sgt bawling at me at 5 in the morning. That **** stays with you

Get a couple of cans in, crank up the stereo, stick Timerider on and relax in the aircon.

It was a kind offer and didn't deserve the ignorant responses it got. I don't live to the west of Barnsley. I am leaving my car at home - getting the train from Thurnscoe and a No 7 bus from Arundel Gate and pretending to be an Owls fan... until I get in the ground...

Thanks mate, I was sure somebody would have benefited. I turned up at the club tonight to pick up my ticket and met a 17 year old who was catching the train on his own from denaby. I offered but when he told me where he lived it was obvious I couldnt help him, thought maybe there would somebody at my end of the support base in a similar situation I could help. Just that.
