    Mario. It’s not relevant that we have a crap record at Hillsborough. We have to compete better against what are an essentially poor siide. I suspect Wednesday are a better example of what we will face this season than Fulham’s ‘come on then let’s have game of football and see who’s best’.
    The worry for me is, with Moore’s untimely departure, I can’t see where Stendel can give us a Plan B when things are not working. However, I still think we need to give it to the end of October when we’ll have a much clearer idea of how our season will pan out.
    One final point. Put the first eleven out against Carlisle. These young players need as much game time together as possible.
