Barking well up the wrong tree there with the Brexit remarks I’m afraid. Also a bit weird how you’ve changed your narrative now you’ve been challenged? Care to try again?
We have a team of 19 year olds? Would you care to be factual or would you prefer to straight up lie about ****?
You've gone from insinuating that Stendel didn't know what he was signing up for because he couldn't speak English to completely dropping the point about him not speaking English and going on about us signing 19-21 year olds again. And then for some strange reason you made a comment about Brexit like it's at all relevant about the topic in hand? But i won't push you for an answer, i don't want you flouncing and saying you're leaving the board again like what happened last time you were challenged so i'll just leave it there. Heaven knows we don't want to be accused of transphobia again, or being a board full of bigots.
You wear whatever cap you like. If you’re a transphobic bigot, that’s your choice. If you think Stendel asked to sign a team of 19-21 year olds, well, you’re just prone to ignoring his words. So don’t complain when he’s not here shortly.
Its going to be a tough season, I hope Stendel is part of the overall plan. I expect each transfer window we sell a couple of players to keep us in a profit but generally the bulk of these players will stay here as a group for the next few years to gain experience and improve together, stay in the division and within a few seasons be challenging for a playoff place. No Barnsley fan can ask for more than that but the key in the coming transfer windows is that we are not signing 12 players again and try to blood them in the first team straight awa, its why we struggled last time we were relegated.
If he's not here shortly then we get another coach, not the end of the world is it? The recruitment is more important than the coach.
Have we signed any experienced players that the manager asked for? No. Have we signed a crap tonne of 19-21 year olds who have never played significant first team football, let alone significant championship football, yes. If you have issue, I suggest you chat with our head coach. He’s the one who asked repeatedly to acquire experience and not a bunch of children.
Ok if you want to be a condescending transphobic bigot, that’s your choice, or it may ironically be genetic. Who can tell. Interesting how you have any recollection of any past comment of mine. I’ve no idea or interest as to what you’ve previously commented on. There are really some oddities on here. Another moron for the mute pile.
Why is Stendel still bemoaning the lack of experience he asked for then? I’m merely backing our brilliant head coach. My backing for our multi billionaires is much much less
Radlinger (from Hannover) is 26. Bahre (from Hannover) who he made captain is 24. Cavare is 24 as are Mowatt, McGeehan, Thiam, Woodrow. That is 7 of the players from yesterday's match. So this idea that it's a team of 19-21 year olds is false. Over-exaggerating to make a point is rather poor form. This is the sort of nonsense that used to get posted when Paul Heckingbottom was in charge in efforts to deflect blame. He would take all the credit for players when doing well but then suggest in interviews he had nothing to do with recruiting players when results went south. Daniel Stendel is no different in that he will do his best in interviews to make himself look the best he can. Every manager I've known has done that. Keith Hill and his broken toys, broken legs and shopping at Aldi. Danny Wilson constantly referred to being paupers and underdogs. It's as though fans forget. I don't fault any manager for looking after themselves. I do fault fans who can't see it for what it is. Of course we'd do better if we spent millions on proven players in their mid to late 20s. But we never have and never will do that. Our current strategy sees the club financially secure running off its own steam. I commend it. We beat a £150m squad last weekend. We didn't beat Wednesday away this weekend. Why the fuss?
Please don’t try talk sense to him or he’ll randomly shout Brexit or false accuse you of being a bigot...or transphobic...or a transphobic bigot..
I think he's more looking forward to when the current squad has championship experience... But you interpret it how you see fit (that works with your narrative).
I had it last week from him . Started giving personal abuse then flounced when he got it back . He’s on ignore life’s a lot more pleasant .
And Diaby, Andersen, Sibbick, Collins, Schmidt, Oduor, Thomas, Wilks and the rest of the summer intake? And brown, styles, Williams and Williams? My sole point is Stendal asked for experience, ideally of the championship. We havent signed that. He’s mentioned it again. Now some of our fans start to turn on him, instead aligning with multi billionaires who have yet to outline why they even bought our club. That just defies odd.
