Another remainer develops sufficient emotional maturity to respect the referendum result. Good to have you on board.
If the referendum had gone the other way would you have supported the government aggressively pursuing a federal EU with the UK as a constituent part? That's the equivalent.
Which ever way we voted, we are all going to lose. Even more than we already have. It’s like an aids victim dry loving himself to give himself even more aids.
With a majority of just under 8 million, the 1975 referendum was the biggest democratic mandate ever delivered.
If you mean financially, it won't, at least as far as I'm aware. Given the consultancy work I do with public sector clients I doubt it'll have much impact either way. But then like most leavers I didn't vote on the basis of personal benefit, as we understood it was about something far more important and meaningful involving laws, sovereignty, borders, etc etc.
Your certainly getting your moneys worth taking back control with parliament . Get used to this farce when we have to look after ourselves .
If we're going to get arsey about it, and setting aside the fact that the 75 vote was about membership of a trading bloc rather than a political union, more people voted to leave this time than voted to join/stay in the 75 referendum. That's why the leave vote is the largest democratic mandate this country has ever seen. For anything.
If we're to get arsey and accurate about it, then as both a percentage of total votes actually cast and a percentage of the registered voters more people voted to join in 75 than to leave. So saying it's "the largest democratic mandate this country has ever seen" is demonstrably ********.
I’ve heard that every supermarket shop that you do after Brexit must include at least a leg of lamb and half a chlorinated chicken no matter what tha goes into buy. And that includes if yer just pop in there for a Chronicle. It’s going to be horrible.
Loving this. If the leave vote had been in some way described as white, you losers would have spent the last three years trying to prove it was black, from a certain perspective. What a waste of time and energy you all are.
I didn't really say anything about the leave vote other than to point out that saying it is "the largest democratic mandate" is factually wrong. If you'd care to offer a counter argument as to why it was correct then I'm listening, but you can't so you'll resort to more ad hominem stuff, probably involving the word "remoaner".
