Heartbreaking innit..? Best friend I ever had. So long, old lass.. Say eyup to my Ellie, good people..
So sorry to hear that, Paul, old mate. It's nearly three years since we lost our own Bella and Sable and I still haven't got over it.
Oh dear, that is so so sad. Our doggies mean so much to us here, we feel for you. At least she saw the delights of Oakwell. Best wishes, David, Yvonne, Bella and Finch xx
She had a very long & happy life & was still up for more. Just her old body let her down.. I feel equally sad and very, very fortunate..
Sorry to hear that mate. They really are part of the family, but unlike family you don't have cross words and probably give them more affection.
Very sorry to hear that. I lost my Jack Russell, Fuzzy 3 years ago this November. Luckily I have met a dog owner that I borrow two young poodle crosses from 2 days a week & they have brought me a lot of joy, which has softened the blow. I was lost for about 12 months before I did that.
Well you can take comfort from her living a full life to a ripe old age! According to the fabled doctrine of 1 dog year equalling 7 person (not "man" anymore) years, she lived to age 126. Sturdy lass you had there.
Totally gutted for you and your family. I have been there a good many times. My Heart, love and prayers are with you all.
I never bought into that equation. But she was well into her 80s..!! Thanks mate, she was a good un. Just got the 16 year old to look after now, who we adopted last year when his human passed away.. Another terrier, arr Ben..
does'nt work like that, a long life but still terribly sad. RIP Ellie. but she was the equivalent of 88 according to that chart.
She was my family, mate.. I still have the young terrier, arr Ben. He came to us last year at 15 years old. He's a good lad, but has been well confused & upset, this last week..
lost mine just over 2 yrs ago to meningitis of all things, she was only 2 too, gut wrenching but still got another pain in the arse later
