who we lost to as much as the result. Always thought Brum would struggle this season but it was a comfortable win for them considering their result on Saturday. Let’s see what the reaction is on Saturday

Absolutely. You can quite easily split this league into the genuine contenders, the also rans and the 'hoping to survives'. We are in the latter group and need to aim to finish towards the top of that mini league. It doesn't bode well when you not just lose to a team likely to be in the same group, but lose comfortably, even though they looked gash. That's got to be a worry.

A bit early to be worried but it won’t take many more results and performances like that to start fearing the worst. Hopefully we’ll come through it and wonder what the fuss was all about.

Nothing at all to do with Brummie.
As for a comfortable win for Brummie - we beat brummie today - we were better in nearly every position.
    And yet we couldn’t score.
And that is the scary scary part of it.

Of course it was something to do with them, who scored their goals for a start.
We beat Brummie, the 2-0 scoreline says different
They’ll look at it as good win considering they didn’t play particularly well again.

Cosmetically, on the surface, some may argue that we were better than them in nearly every position. To me, it just looked like men against boys again. They just needed to keep it tight, wait for the chance, take it and shut us out. Bang, worked perfectly. A lot of better teams than Birmingham will do the same, some without appearing to break sweat. We will argue time after time that we passed it around lovely but bemoan another defeat.

For the home side they didn’t worry us all that oft imo.
They had the chances (not gonna say better chances cos we dint ev none )
We handled their organic threats ok imo it was the passes to their frontline from our midfield we couldn’t handle .
They gonna struggle on that performance and so are we , we need fortress Oakwell this season to stay up .
Trouble is lots have seen the performance , normally a bad away performance like that is only witnessed by the away following and home crowd carry on from last home performance and Cheer on regardless . We’ll have to pretend we dint see em .

The only football played tonight was from Barnsley.
Birmingham never ever looked like scoring.
Barnsley dominated in a scrappy game.
And yet Barnsley never had a shot on target - but there was only one team going to win that match and it was Barnsley.
But we managed to give Birmingham 2 goals.
Stendel will be seething at what he saw today.

We will stay up if we can win home games. Luton is a game we need to win.

They are not use to one another. Mislaid passes , players not understanding one another, not. Getting in right places.
It will get better. Need to stop pissing about at back with goalie, and niggling passes across goal
The effort is there, need to gel
