I seem to remember that the ball came at Anderson with too much pace when opposition was on him and had no time to comtrol it. Should not have been put in that position.. Bad decision and bad execution of pass by Cameron IMO (3rd time in the past few games as well) He has also made sloppy passes that have not cost us but when that deep they amplify the error
One clean sheet this season against promotion favourites. RB = Sibbick LB = Cavare There is a clue there. Can the Sibbick haters give it a rest.
I don't think anyone hates him. For me, I've only managed to get to Birmingham so far, and unfortunately he looked nowhere near ready in my opinion, but certainly don't hate him, just think Cavare is a far better option at right back
As I said, personally I thought he played well against Fulham and Charlton and there's no 'hate' coming from me. The basic errors and the impression he gives that he's not ready is worrying and that's what I was getting at. Cavare had a very good game at left back against Fulham, but this isn't a solution on the left side. It was clear he can't use his left foot, and switching the ball to his right foot whenever in possession means he is more likely to lose it, as the opposition will surely suss this out quickly as something they can take advantage of. Cavare should be the natural choice at right back, with Sibbick ready to come in periodically as he develops. The hate I have seen on here and heard on Tuesday as we were leaving has been directed at Cameron McGeehan, and for me it's wrong. I think he's going through a bad patch and needs our support like the rest of the team. As I said, we need to get behind them, but changes do need to be made.
To be fair, most were saying we needed to strengthen at LB, I was hoping Oduor was the answer, but it appears not. I still think we are 3 players light and would be delighted if we dipped our toes into the free agent market. But only for a hungry player or one interested in moving to a coaching role within Daniels team.
Certainly don’t hate Sibbick, he’s started very well, but is still improving. Cavare offers more going forward but has the tendency to rush in and give away penalties. Players in the Championship will be quick to feel contact in the box and hit the deck.
