Today is a complete summary of the what’s been happening.

Our best right back for years is left out, rumour has it allegedly fighting on training duties?!?,

Our best and only real striker has an injury?!??

There’s obviously disarray somewhere maybe even panic!

A deep breath is definitely needed

    But
    These are young fit lads,footballers,professionals.

Give them time,Fulham shows we aren’t far from being a really competitive team if the right tactics and team selections are made week in week out.

I’ve seen this before in both professional, amateur and kids football.

Each player must have long enough to establish make the mistakes and gain the confidence in his position.
Constantly switching the team is a mistake in itself.

By Christmas I really believe we’ll be competing.

    Fingers crossed

The team will then have a big value once again

None of the new players would have got in last year's team.

    Not yet
    Time
    I think it’ll come

I remember Hourihane being useless ,we’d have him back!!

    Same with Davies

Maybe even Moore most of the time in the Championship

    Agree.

But if it was 1 or 2 then maybe.

We have an entire new team... again.

    Every ******* season

I understand your frustration because mines the same

But these are young talented footballers

Coaching and experience will create the new team

It’ll come just keep thinking about Fulham and even the Charlton game.

But consistently playing the same team is a must to gain the experience and camaraderie

I understand the philosophy and even agree with it.

But in my opinion the only way it would work is gradual improvement. Which is what the board say they want to achieve.

That should mean a gradual improvement in playing staff. Not an entirely new team every season. But one or 2 different players.

Unless I am talking and thinking ********, to me it's obvious?

There’s evidence that these lads have plenty of potential, but I think it’s very naive to think such a young squad with so many new faces will be able to compete at Championship level. They may improve by Christmas but I fear confidence will have taken such a knock by then that it will be a huge achievement to avoid relegation. The owners thought we had a squad that could compete in the Championship last season. I wasn’t convinced. That squad has been weakened in my opinion and I remain far from convinced...

you can't just wait until Christmas in the Championship. You have to be solid and compete from first week. Plus by Christmas the likes of Woodrow and Mowatt may be off too! The first half of this season should have been our stage then sell at Crimbo and hang on in there

Wilks shows plenty of fight, but not a lot of quality. His dribble consists of the Maori side step. To an echo an earlier point, none of the new lads would get in last year's team. Having such a big player turnover was only going to end in one way. We've been here before, seen it all before. I'm not given to over-reactions - we were always going to lose at home at some point - but that first half really was embarrassing.

I trust that all our new players will go on to bigger and better things once they've gotten us promoted from league one next season.
