No it doesn't. If a majority answer leave to the first question then we're leaving and question 2 is looked at to determine whether we leave with a deal or not. There's no splitting at all.

Obviously a ratifying referendum should be to agree the proposed route the government of the day was proposing, which I think everyone has to agree, has massively shifted since Johnson was gifted the PM job. Remain or accept whatever deal he proposes. That can be the only way forward through referendum.

The way we leave is not crap as you put it. Its vitally important. The irish backstop has no alternative at this stage, and is solely there to prevent issues after a transition period. but if Johnson pushes no deal through... who knows what mess that will leave us with.

Gina Miller has put forward actions for parliament to be sovereign and do its job. The CBI and BofE have done their jobs and published highly detailed reports under various premises.

The sad thing in much of this (I speak generally) is the inconsistency. That whatever the preference, the actions will suit, even if they are contradictory. So we want control! To deny the judiciary? To deny parliament? To create dictators that aren't elected?

If this were Corbyn... or something the EU were "making" us do? What would the reaction be? If what Johnson was doing was to prorogue to ensure we joined the Euro, or Schengen, or repeal all employment law and minimum wage criteria... would that be healthy? Would that be ideal? Would that be democratic? Would that be the will of the people?

Whatever side of the choice youre on, allowing an unelected PM to prorogue Parliament is an incredibly dangerous precedent and should be stopped.

It's called a constitutional democracy. You do understand how that works? You do understand that when you wanted power returned from the EU to the UK this is what it means? What am I talking about, of course you don't, and many like yourself don't care about democracy just as many on the Remain side don't care either.

What a **** show all this is to settle a 40 year old argument by Tory right wingers about the EU. And if Boris cant/won't sort a deal out (he doesn't want one it's quite clear) and he calls an election those traditional Labour voters will form a line behind the Tory scum like lemmings marching over a cliff to no deal disaster.

I can only imagine the throthing at the mouth if this was Corbyn doing the same. Fkucking hypocritical b@stards.

    I didn’t actually, but ok. I’m pathetic.

Is it, though, in your view, as ‘pathetic’ as basing your vote on leaving the eu on either:

    A) wanting ‘control’ on immigration - when we already had and always have had exactly that, but don’t use it robustly and have no plans to do so

    Or

    B) actually reducing immigration - when there has never been even the slightest hint from any source that net migration would be reduced in any way outside of the eu - and in fact all that you might achieve is making the migrants come from further away

I agree that it is unfair to tar all of any faction of a vote with the same label.

You might not be racist. Your posts suggest a latent dislike of all things foreign - but you might get the benefit of the doubt from some.

So racist maybe not. But you were bloody stupid to think that leaving the eu would have any effect on actual migration figures. There is no doubt about that.

Plenty in Europe, China, India, Taiwan and Japan that I've spoken to laughing at us. I've heard rumours of some Americans booking trips to the UK for their "disaster porn" fix.

Saw the same in Swindon on my last job. (barely) Functional alcoholics complaining that they can't get a job, and how all the Eastern Europeans are taking all the jobs while barely being able to remember when they need a piss.

So how many businesses do you think pay below minimum wage? And to how many people? Do you know the risk a business owner faces by failing to declare their employees and by breaching legal minimum wage levels? Are you aware of the real time PAYE reporting systems nowadays?

There will be some unscrupulous businesses for sure, but you're into the realms of cash based businesses, and that's becoming less and less the norm.

Christ....where to start with this ill-informed s.h.it??!?! Oh, and Bercow is doing the job he was asked to do - ensuring the sovereignty of parliament and the processes it has to perform. Remember that? Sovereignty?? The very thing the Brexiteers were bairnin' about restoring??

Point out where I said big majority.

    I said big proportion.

There is a difference and it isn’t a subtle one.

The world wide credit crunch which started in America was the fault of Gordon Brown? Interesting, I never knew he had such power, wow.

Are you off out to pick fruit and veg next summer? Also do you imagine when we do deals with China and India in our brave new world they won’t demand thousands of extra visas for their nationals? And do you imagine the immigration from people marrying their illiterate cousins and bringing them over is going to magically end too?

Proportion. Not wanting migration may not be racist. But there are racists who also don't want migration. We must all have seen people who don't want migrants, are racist and voted to leave. The amount is open to debate, but seeing as the swing in the polls timed with the anti migrant push, there has to be some correlation of some racists voting to leave? or are there no racists at all in the UK? Well we know we have at least one, who just happens to be an unelected PM.

So me simply saying I don't agree with the amount
of immigration to our country suggests I hate all things foreign?
