    The trouble is with that, is that the vast, vast majority of BREXIT "fans", are normal, working class people just like the "remain" voters. So if you are wanting the leavers shafted, then you're also wanting remainers shafted too...

    In a couple of years I'm going to apply for Irish citizenship. I'd like it to be a joint UK and Irish citizenship but if the UK doesn't sort itself out and put the xenophobic, callous, little englander morons out of power and influence then I'm afraid I won't be seeking to retain the British passport.
    It's reached the stage where ignorance, even a glorying in ignorance has become a badge of honour. It's sickening.

    In a couple of years I'm going to apply for German citizenship.     I very much hope there is some form of dual citizenship offered by the EU, but the depths now plumbed by this unelected band of psychopaths with no respect for anything I think has put paid to it.

    We were discussing residency (England or other) while in Belgium over the weekend and I think its the first time we've genuinely felt like we just don't belong in England. Its not even EU or not EU anymore. Residing in the Uk almost feels like its condoning hate and idiocy.

    We'll see how things unravel and hope some sanity returns, but if it goes down the most extreme path, I fear I may have to say goodbye to this isle and seek something that more closely matches my views and beliefs.

    Got my Irish passport Churton. In my case it’s merely symbolic but it makes me feel a lot better.
