I'd recommend for people to look at some of the posts of @LedByDonkeys on twitter. Sure they must push into other domains too. Commonly entertaining to see the hypocrisy of some of our MP's.

Ballax, please don’t patronise me with your withering remainer superiority complex. You're just as dismissive of what I post. You haven't understood the nature of my post have you ? The common market we signed up for has morphed into a european state thats now making our laws. Where will it end if we dont stand up to it now.

    What laws?
It’d help if you told us about any of the thousands of EU laws you object to.

Yes we do, before their power to make our laws starts with how many migrants we have to take, what benefits we have to pay them, how many fish we’re allowed to catch, that sort of thing.

Migrants.... benefits...... there’s a bit of a common theme here me old xenophobic fella.

For the avoidance of doubt il type it in capitals for you again

OUR OWN GOVERNMENT HAS THE POWER TO REMOVE ANY MIGRANT WORKER WHO ISNT ACTUALLY WORKING OR HAS ENTERED THE COUNTRY ILLEGALLY.

I thought you started at 6 and worked a 50 hour week?
If Boris finds out you're not working all through your excessively long working hours you'll become persona non grata.
Careful, there might be someone Polish waiting to actually do the graft.

"Our" laws? You do know that we can and do make our own laws and we have a say in the enactment of EU laws (we contribute to their formulation too), we also have a veto and we can (and do) vote various EU laws down.

I struggle to see where your argument with that arrangement comes from.

But they don’t make our laws. Only 72 EU laws have been imposed on the UK since the eu was established and many of those our MEPs voted in favour of. The numbers are minuscule.

    Well this is fun:
The EU doesn’t tell us how many migrants we have to take, it only allows for people to move freely, what happens to them when they get here is up to us.

The EU has no rules about benefits for non nationals, you could have a look at the vast differences there are across the EU to see the flexibility. Again purely up to UK law (which has changed as we moved from JSA to UC.

The fishing quotas are based on international treaties, nowt to do with the EU. Interestingly, most EU countries put in place local rules to support smaller scale local fishing industries. But as usual the UK govt favours ‘big business’ and actually sells our quotas to foreign companies.

Any other problems in the country you believe are based on non existent EU laws?

Not sure about that... I think I'm right in saying it would still have failed as several Tory Remainers also voted against it.

The UK has voted against just 2% of proposed EU laws since 1999. Almost all major areas of UK public policy are still the subject of UK domestic law. But in any event, I think I'd sooner have legislation passed down by the EU than by successive Tory governments with which I have nothing in common.

Sorry Donny am at work and dont have all day to argue with you, I know they dont tell us how many we have to take, yet. I know they dint tekk us what benefitts we have to pay. Yet. The Belgian minister wants to harmonise welfare payments. Its coming. As for there inly being a handful of eu laws we have to abide by, really ??? Freedom of movement, common fisheries policy, what we can and cant apply VAT to (heard of the tampon tax)?? And even what constitutes an acceptable banana ffs.

Fisheries is more of a symbolic issue than one with any real economic importance. There is also a question mark over what we could actually fish for if restricted to our "own" waters, given global warming and fish migration.

Crowded afternoon and there's not enough room in the city today
The people assembled to hear what resembled evangelists say
Some came just to see them for a laugh, others to be free
Fools must pretend to be wise, we've a faith that we use as a heavy disguise

Tears from the crowd with men crying aloud or just ringing their hands
The love in their hearts at this joining of people from far away lands
I'd so many questions I could ask, I wanted to be free
Fools must pretend to be wise, we've a faith that we use as a heavy disguise

Cheers from the crowd for a much-loved constituent lately arrived
Here's to the soul of the man who takes toll for just staying alive
Can't ignore the feeling in the air, glad that I was there
Fools must pretend to be wise, we've a faith that we use as a heavy disguise

Evening drew on with a change of opinion from left wing and right
And North accused South who were left little doubt that they needed to fight
I cannot begin to understand the suffering tonight
Fools must pretend to be wise
Fools must pretend to be wise
Fools must pretend to be wise, we've a faith that we use as a heavy disguise
