    Looking positive so far. Thiam with a good effort from a free kick, then he created a chance down the left that wasn’t finished.

    Joe Williams is currently playing like he’d struggle to get in our current midfield.

    Referee very inconsistent. Books 2 Barnsley players (albeit bookable offences so no complaints there) BUT a few minutes after that an identical foul to the 2nd booking, by Wigan this time referee does nothing after awarding a free kick.
    Wigan coaches in technical area in 4th official's face for the entire 1st half!!

    Reason why I stopped paying for the audio. When I watched the game on iFollow and he was commentating he seemed to be telling me something completely different from what I was seeing.
    He's fluid and articulate, so it's a shame.

    Thats what Paul Cook does.
    Another Bowyer.
    Sadly officials give in, rather than stand up to them or going against them.
    Personally, I would ensure marginals went against someone who was permanently in my face.
    They might learn eventually.
