Reunited with flicker who joins as assistant manager. Wonder if will dare pi*s of their fans by dismissing their history etc. Will be a big rebuilding job for him looking ahead to L2 next season.
Taghtrupe. Brorkern legs. Team Bowl Turn. Special yooman beans. Horf-chips/horf-raas. DNA. Layering. Obsessed wa' 1997. Synergeh. Did I miss any?
Wonder what Phil Parkinson is thinking right now! Stuck with them through all the pain only to resign a few days before salvation arrived
I’ve a lot of time for Flicker. Gave me some great memories, along with some gutsy players, in the Great Escape season. Hill? Wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole.
I’d rather have Brian Glover as Manager than Keith Hill. Christ, i’d rather have Benny a Hill at the helm. In fact, John Helm could do a better job! Though, before Brian’s untimely death I can honestly say I never saw the both of them in the same room at the same time. Spooky.
Kind of ironic that Flicker has turned up at a club that has been on the brink of going bust because of overspending just days after the other club he seriously over spent at has disappeared.
Accept that, but I suspect his taking the job in the first place was based on totally unrealistic demands on spending that he made based on wanting to run the place like a championship club or higher, with his trips to St George's etc. It was the boards job to run the place properly and tell him to stick his special people up his arris, but he played his part.
