Fonzie, I can't be @rsed to look back through all the Brexit posts, but I'm pretty certain it wasnt me who mentioned 72 but someone else who posted summat about laws on food colouring or additives to belittle my claim that the eu force their laws upon us. I'd also had another poster claim in capital letters that we can choose who comes here from the eu but we choose not to. In an attempt to answer both points I posted the eu legislation on Freedom of Movement, enforced by the european court. This was to serve as an example of eu law forced on us and to demonstrate the point that we can't control who comes here as eu citizens have the right to come here under eu law. Killing two birds with one stone so to speak. I hope this clears your query up for you. Donny Red - You've gone too far me owd, it's obvious that you're as passionate about your beliefs as I am about mine, the fact that our views are opposed is no need to be calling me a nazi.
That was me. You’ve not answered it and you’ve not only misquoted yourself you’ve now been obtuse in your reply. You asked why people come over here and claim benefits. I stated they couldn't, if our government stopped them. If Freedom of movement is your issue that’s a very different kettle of fish, fish we’ve probably sold to the EU fisherman and then complained we can’t catch any fish.
I’m not going there with the freedom of movement you didn’t read or couldn’t comprehend. But on the flag burning. Now Mr Trump once claimed he’d witnessed people laughing during 911 (based on a fictitious internet post he jumped on the back of). When it was proved to be false he didn’t have the common sense to back down, he just thought we were daft enough to believe his lies. I’m not. Sorry if that offends you it’s just life.
Oh yes they can Pompey, and most certainly do - What rights to UK benefits do EU nationals have? EU law doesn’t require Member States to allow EU migrants unrestricted access to benefits. Broadly speaking, EU ‘treaty rights’ allow a person who moves between EEA states (and Switzerland) to access benefits in the host country if they are ‘economically active’ or ‘self-sufficient.’ These rules apply to nationals from a broader group of countries than the 28 EU Member States, but for simplicity, we will refer to ‘EU nationals’. Nearly 80% of economically inactive mobile citizens derive rights (residence rights and/or rights to benefits) from economically active family members with whom they are living in the host Member State and are entitled to equal treatment with the family members of national workers. So, I give you the example of a lady at work from eastern europe who started on a 5 day week then exercised her right to apply for flexible working and went to two days "for childcare purposes" the real reason being that she worked out that she could earn nearly as much claiming benefits and only working two days than working a full five. She also has her entire extended family here, all retired, all claiming benefits on the back of her 'economically active' status. Never worked here. never contributed, but here living off welfare and accessing free use of the nhs because it is as she told me one day it is 'their right'. Perhaps being opposed to not being able to get a doctors appointment for two weeks when I'm ill owing to the increased numbers using the nhs makes me a nazi in your eyes too ??
It's a real pity you're not big enough to apologise for your comment, whether you believe me or not doesn't really bother me Donny, you're not a big part of my life
I’d happily apologise if I thought I needed to. But as you’ve continually ignored factual evidence, instead clinging onto lies, you don’t appear to deserve the benefit of doubt.
It’s a shame Donny because I quite enjoy our debates but if you think its ok to call someone a nazi just because their views don't align with yours then that says more about you than me doesnt it. I’ll leave it there.
Well done on witnessing something that didn’t happen. I’m looking forward to Barnsley smashing Liverpool eleventy nil in our local park tonight. Definitely happened.
If you remove the “Eastern European” bit you’d have nearly made a valid point. Not quite however as it’s not a race to the bottom as you seem to think it is. Haven’t those in power and wealth done a grand job of convincing you those with nothing are stealing from you.
Without the insult you’d nearly have conceded that I’m right, perhaps we’re not a bunch of thickos who dont know what we’re voting for after all ??
You posted about a fake event and are continuing to pretend/lie about it still. It’s beyond pathetic.
No I didnt, I posted what I saw, which plainly isnt what went around social media but may have been inspired by it. Dunno.
Do you really want me to tell you each of the bits of this that aren’t supported by current UK benefit rules? It’s more fake than Trump and the laughing Muslims. Again - you’re massively out of your depth here.
Trump definitely saw those laughing Muslims too. Even though it’s been proven they didn’t exist and he was nowhere near where it reportedly happened.
Good luck with getting an appointment if all the foreign nationals working in the NHS leave the UK then
