Fonzie, I can't be @rsed to look back through all the Brexit posts, but I'm pretty certain it wasnt me who mentioned 72 but someone else who posted summat about laws on food colouring or additives to belittle my claim that the eu force their laws upon us.

I'd also had another poster claim in capital letters that we can choose who comes here from the eu but we choose not to.
In an attempt to answer both points I posted the eu legislation on Freedom of Movement, enforced by the european court.This was to serve as an example of eu law forced on us and to demonstrate the point that we can't control who comes here as eu citizens have the right to come here under eu law. Killing two birds with one stone so to speak.

You asked why people come over here and claim benefits. I stated they couldn't, if our government stopped them.

If Freedom of movement is your issue that’s a very different kettle of fish, fish we’ve probably sold to the EU fisherman and then complained we can’t catch any fish.

 

You are certainly opposed to facts, reason and truth whichever way you dress it up.

Now Mr Trump once claimed he’d witnessed people laughing during 911 (based on a fictitious internet post he jumped on the back of). When it was proved to be false he didn’t have the common sense to back down, he just thought we were daft enough to believe his lies. I’m not.

What rights to UK benefits do EU nationals have?
EU law doesn’t require Member States to allow EU migrants unrestricted access to benefits. Nearly 80% of economically inactive mobile citizens derive rights (residence rights and/or rights to benefits) from economically active family members with whom they are living in the host Member State and are entitled to equal treatment with the family members of national workers.

So, I give you the example of a lady at work from eastern europe who started on a 5 day week then exercised her right to apply for flexible working and went to two days "for childcare purposes" the real reason being that she worked out that she could earn nearly as much claiming benefits and only working two days than working a full five.
She also has her entire extended family here, all retired, all claiming benefits on the back of her 'economically active' status. Never worked here. never contributed, but here living off welfare and accessing free use of the nhs because it is as she told me one day it is 'their right'.

Perhaps being opposed to not being able to get a doctors appointment for two weeks when I'm ill owing to the increased numbers using the nhs makes me a nazi in your eyes too ??
