What? That the convicts are fielding cheats, who would have been banned longer if an Ashes series wasn't due?

Yes, because the miners strike was so recent!!!

    Me thinks not.

Unless either team performs miracles this match will be a draw. Today and Friday will be washed out with intermittent showers forecast for Saturday.

Tea at half five, nearly two hours later than usual. Who makes these dumb decisions? When they restart at 4 like they usually do anyway, they could have had tea at the usual time within that three hours they have gone without playing.

Blustery conditions, overcast and the bowlers nicely rested. I expect some quick wickets.

Yep. I'd have preferred Smith but still time yet.

Labuschagne has certainly taken his chance to cement a place in the team though.

No doubt about that; he has been fantastic since the Smith injury.

Smith is again in control of this test match, to get him out you have to knock him out.

And another 100 for Smith. England may as well give up on trying to get him out as they don't have a clue. A double century beckons if his team mates can stay with him at the other end. All that momentum from the superb win at Headingley has just gone.

If Messi or Ronaldo run rings round an opposition, does that make the opposition ****? Or is it because they are two of the world's best players?

I’m sure someone on here said Steve Smith wasn’t a great batsman a few week ago..

I'm pretty sure it isn't me you're referring to but I have totally changed my opinion of him in this series and am happy to hold my hands up to that. He is practically impossible to get out and I don't believe that is due to our bowlers per se.

    Jason Roy drops a dolly.

Has he dropped more catches than scored runs this series?

I take it back too. He is a top quality batsman. He adapts very well to conditions and works bowlers out very quickly. Most importantly always looking to score and doesn't get bogged down on the crease.

Joe Root is the closest thing we have to a Steve Smith but the ECB are ruining him with the captaincy.

Another dropped catch, this is becoming a shambles now, it was a straightforward chance FFS. The wheels are well and truly coming off.

Piss poor fielding yet again. Dropped catches left right and centre. A spinner over stepping the only time smith is out. Rank bad. Pray for rain and hope we can draw and tey win last test .
