I would also like to add that her daughter lives with my coworker and her husband (probably always will) and does have a simple minimum wage job in a factory so she is paying taxes and not living off the state.
I'm more informed. I didn't how many stupid people there are in this country, people who are willing to make themselves, their families and their friends poorer by insisting we leave just because they voted leave "to get rid of the foreigners". I said it 3 years ago and I stick by it, if the EU isn't investing in this area who is going to? So far not one leave voter has been able to answer that.
I wish Johnson could read this. While he was being humiliated in Wakefield, some of his party members were making idiots of themselves by pratting about with photoshop using a copyrighted photo of a man dressed as a chicken. What an utter shambles, my heart goes out to you and the many others who are petrified by Johnson's cliff edge politics. Call the whole thing off and start again.
this would be the common sense approach pal and yes, you are spot on because its completely irresponsible that nobody in authority is making any noises to send some assurances for folk who are at their wits end with worry project fear(to coin the phrase) will feed on this to make a case for remain and with nothing forthcoming from the powers that be I honestly cant blame them.
i fear this to be true Marlon and if it is there will be no better oppotunity for the labour part to stop it and put into practice what it said on that effin bus, if they couldnt use any lies to their advantage then they too should be held to account, I've always maintained that eventually that slogan could work to the advantage of the labour party, just think what public reaction WOULD be if most of that money did provide new hospitals and staff
you see I dont agree with that because other than the irish backstop issue i cant think of anything else that didnt get raised during the election campaign, medical shortages, food shortages, work visa's, pet passport scheme, customs hold ups, having to use international driving permits, millions of job losses, etc etc, these were all used during the campaign, and i'm no liar pal
They were and they were almost all (apart from work visas) dismissed as “project fear” by the leave campaigns who promised us a great trade deal etc
and the only way we'll find out the truth is once we've left, they could well be 'project fear' just as much as they could well be true i may have missed these promises so forgive me if i have but i cannot remember anyone 'promising' us a great trade deal or anything else for that matter, so far its been nothing but both sides assuming what will happen in their own view, with both being equally ridiculed by their opposite numbers
Even your rabid Brexiteers say the country will take a knock IF we come out, the sayings "project fear" and "remoners" to name but two are words conjured up by the likes of Farage, Johnson, Mogg and Rabb to cover their lies. And its starting now - in March I bought a brand new Honda car from Barnsley Honda down in Redbrook and today I received a letter telling me they were closing, I phoned them up about my 5-year warranty and services etc and asked the woman on the phone if Brexit was anything to do with closing - answer " its got to have".
Honda are shutting up the uk has nothing to do with Brexit but everything to do with their business model.
There’s a couple of articles on it. But to summarise.. The biggest New Car market in the UK is the lease/fleet market. Honda didn’t want a bit of this market and its bitten them on the arse. In terms of uk sales they lag behind Hyundai. The sell more cars in Indonesia than the UK... Which is a shame cos they are cracking cars as a rule.
Because when they shut there factory in Swindon earlier this year that was the reason given by hondas management
Unless you are being euphemistic, they are remarkably similar in shape to the current £1 coin and probably not worth much less.
