Its a while since I read 1984 and I cant face reading it again at the moment but it is scary how much from that has become government policy wonder how long it will be before 2 minutes hate is introduced with either Europeans or Remoaners as the subject As a side note I see the government is using our money for blatant propaganda now plugging the return of duty free (if we leave without a deal) as a great benefit to travellers
Why can't people just accept the leave vote? If and when Labour and the SNP come into power they could then have their own referendum on whether to go back into the EU. Wouldn't that be more democratic than not accepting the previous result? I'm past caring whether we leave or remain to be honest. However, I'm sick of all these hypocrites that are crying about it being the death of democracy because they were on the wrong side of a referendum result.
Yes, let's bankrupt the country so when we rejoin the EU we will get loads of Grant's like the eastern European countries have had to help get back on our feet.....we will lose all our vetoes ,be forced to adopt the Euro and will have to sit at the back of class but other than that it sounds like a well thought out plan
We’ve decided to shoot our foot off, let’s get on with it. If we decide later we want it back, we can have a plastic one made. That makes perfect sense; though I’m not sure to whom?
I’m waiting for my list of tangible benefits to brexit in the other thread.. amazing how these vocal brexit posters are suddenly so coy when you ask even a basic question.
Why dont you supply tangible benefits of remaining? Ive yet to see you put any ideas or suggestions forward.
Wow. Wasn't sure it was humanly possible to be this gullible. Brexit isn't the death of democracy, but what that lying, duplicitous cu.nt Johnson and his criminal friends are doing to the country most definitely is. You're either part of that stitch-up or some kind of village idiot for believing otherwise.
The British Pound, with a name taken from the Latin "poundus" meaning "weight" and the symbol comes a scripted "L" from the Latin for "Libra" or "Scales"... Better not tell anyone that our currency and the symbol for it are both Italian.
