The ticket price is pretty outrageous now for The Ashes - there's only so many times watching England players fish outside the offstump or play down the wrong line anyone can take!
Australia in can't bat against a swinging ball shocker. We'll see how the rest of the test pans out, but it may very much come down to the disastrous selection at OT that may well have cost a very very poor England side the Ashes, against a very very poor Australia side.
Shame we couldn't bowl their tail out a bit sooner but reckon most England fans would've taken this after day 2. Denly was lucky to be dropped too.
It feels different, the ashes have gone, the intensity isn't there and therefore makes batting easier. They say it isnt a dead rubber ,but it is .
The pressure might be off a little but England will be determined not to lose the series and the Aussies will be wanting to win outright on UK soil.
Well deserved. Their heads could've gone down after the last match and they haven't done that. Great win.
my summary of this ashes series ended up a decent battle between 2 even teams, oz probably shaded it in sessions won, but the only draw result was a dead cert england win at lords but for the weather but they still deserved to retain the urn over the series climax was still great between archer & wade, just shows test match cricket isn't dead, far from it i spoke to a guy who doesn't follow cricket yesterday and couldn't understand why winning today would be that important after the ashes are gone 1, we didn't lose the series 2, there's a test match league, which isn't that well published 3, it was all played in a great spirit with no real controversies (apart from the umpiring)

My summary, two dreadful teams, delighted I get a refund for tomorrow and don’t have to go. Roll on gutless ecb selection that glorify inadequacy.
