I'm in Germany mate so not entirely sure for UK but I think you can get them in Tesco according to their site: https://www.beyondmeat.com/products/the-beyond-burger/
So many places doing them now. Either the Impossible Burger or the Beyond Meat one. A lot of the major chains, and some of the more independent ones, have one on their menu these days.
I had a burger at a barbecue a few weeks ago. Not sure which one it was but it was pretty awful. I was hungover to fck though, so that may have had something to do with it. On the upside of things, I had a couple of vegan sausages at another barbie a couple of weeks later which were absolutely amazing. Might have been Linda McCartney. I also think that Gregg's vegan sausage roll is a very convincing imitation of the real thing.
Try the Linda McCartney mozzarella burgers/quarter-pounders, too. They're very good approximations to meat.
Nice one, I will do next time I'm in the UK (next month actually). Things have certainly come a long way in the last few years. I remember Linda McCartney stuff tasting like posh dog biscuits when I was a student!
Try church House of Fun in Sheffield. There Tinsley Tower burger is vegan but you’d never know in a million years.
Will do that at Christmas when I'm back for sure. Cheers for the heads up. Is Make No Bones any good? I've heard very mixed reports.
I’ve eaten there. Found their food over done with sauces etc, but ive had some great veggie and vegan burgers over the past year and choice is certainly growing. I haven’t eaten meat for a year now and don’t miss it one bit.
I’ve been very impressed the times I’ve eaten there. Tinsley tower is great and I like the fries. Great venue kid friendly etc. If you go we all will tag along.
