We’ve signed some decent players, but I’m not convinced they’re all going to gel, especially when we’re getting beat every week. I hope I’m wrong but it’s going to be a very long season.

Yeah that's it.. just pull on the heart strings, sell the fans any old 5tite then..
Don't you think the fans diserve a team that stands a chance in this league...?
Instead of fighting the one hand behind your back..

Football is an emotional game but in his situation, given what he's said, it's merely a question of logic. if you lose interest just don't go. why should he put himself thru an experience in which he has no interest?
I will never lose interest in my football club. Never. Ever.
I'm not interested in DIY programmes on TV so I dont watch them.
Also I'm not looking to have an irrelevant squabble with him or you or anyone else.

We should have backed those players and offered them contracts straight after winning promotion. Instead of that ****** about them earning the right to see if they get a deal else where. What they meant was they had no confidence they could cut it in the championship and didn’t want to offer them more cash until they knew. By then it was too late.

I get the feeling they Conway does want Barnsley to do well. And that maybe he is here for the long haul. However this is not going to be by throwing large wads if cash at it. Sunderland fans are full of their new billionaire owners and already spending their money for them. I dont think that it will happen though. Man city lucked out, a megarich owner at the right time.. That is one club though, look at Fulham .

    Dont worry guys.

There will be another Bfc meeting in the legends suite where the usual sound bites will be said "re investment building for the future fully behind the recruitment process blah blah blah"

Starting to feel we are being made fools of.

I think he just let off steam in the heat of the moment and could’ve maybe chose his words more carefully. You’re 100% bang on though. We all get very emotional cause we care about our team.

I’d bet you a pound to a penny he’ll be back for Brentford game

I don’t but every time Hecky was asked if we were offering then new contracts he came out with the line about earning the right to get more money elsewhere. Sure Houriane said if he’d been offered new contract in pre season he would have signed one.

I’ll still be there week in week out. After all the 90 mins is always the worst part of the day. :D
