A good sign. It's good Sibbick is playing so well that we don't need to rush him back. Would be an excellent option on the bench when he's nearing match fitness to put some fresh legs on in midfield, or change shape if we need to.
Not as an attacking midfielder, but would give the likes of McGeehan the freedom to play his natural position as an attack minded midfielder. He gives us more stability to push on. Sibbick looks quite good on the front foot too TBH, decent shot on Saturday from memory.
Goid for him he was really in the wars last season and looked to be in agony on he side of the Doncaster pitch.
That’s brilliant news. At times last season when he was at his best he looked like he naturally belonged at a higher level. He will provide much needed control to the defensive side of our midfield which could be a key factor in us starting to get more positive results.
I'm probably in a minority here but from what I saw of Dougall I think fans overrate him. I don't think he'll cut it at anything beyond L1. I could be wrong of course and will hold my hands up if I am but that's my opinion. Not saying he's crap or anything either, just not as good as people suggest.
I like Kenny, thought he breezed through playing in league 1, be interesting to see how he steps up to this league. A better option than Sibbick in there.
Came back from a serious injury after a terrible challenge and didn't change his game. Same happened a second time and when he's back again strengthening our squad I've no doubt he will still play the same way risking injuries by getting stuck in and not shitting out.
Dougall will change games off the bench. Had we shut up shop and had a fit Dougall instead of Thiam we'd av' taken a point against Leeds. It's game management for me. No set system just an awareness that your 65 plus into a game 0-0 try n' win it but hope to heavens you don't fc uk in lose it. It'll come though. Nottingham Forest/Leeds/Brum 0-0 Barnsley and me moaning my head off we ant won with a point on the board.
I'd like to see us play 433/451 with Dougall sitting behind Mowatt and Mcgeehan with Wilks, Thomas and Woodrow
