    you were offered a much higher wage to leave your current employers to move to a company of a similar ilk what would you do

    Done it once before for double my salary regretted it after a couple of months money isn’t everything I’m happier in my job now even though I’m earning less than I was 20 years ago

    Agreed . If things ain't broke and all that. And once you have paid your bills the only difference re. having more money is you can just buy more expensive stuff. And that doesn't make you any happier imo.

    I retired nearlly 3yrs ago, i've just bin offered a job 1,300 parnd a week i'm tempted to go back to work. The thing is were comfortable, happy and bone foookin idle nar, any help appreciated.

    I've jumped companies a couple of times and enjoying your place of work is far more important than a bit extra money, you only spend it on rubbish but you are at work over 50 hours a week which is a long time if your new boss is a knob head.

    There isn't enough money in the world that would make me move from my current employer.

    However, my circumstances are that no one relies on me and I can afford my rent, bills and vices. As such I'm pretty much incorruptible*. If I had a family I don't think I would be able to give the same answer.

    *Not with money anyway.
