Will come out the blocks at a 100 mile an hour. They know that we as a squad lack confidence. They know if they get us on the back foot they can have the game won by half time They know the teams brittle defensivly. They know we have no plan B and our plan A isnt very good. Going to be a long night.
Fear the worst and hope for the best! Just watched the recap, wer'e creating chances we need to convert them
Or... maybe, just maybe, we smash them 3-0 and it kick-starts our season and we end up in the playoffs. b e p o s i t i v e
With all whats happening with Keogh, Derby etc, I'd have thought surely we can try take advantage of a team who might be off it a bit today. Could do with Schmidt starting with Woodrow today.
We haven't got the players to play the same way as last season for a whole ninety minutes. Against Brentford we came flying out of the blocks and looked tired before half time. It would be nice to use a bit more nous later and pace ourselves better, at the same time frustrating Derby. The longer it takes for them to score, the sooner their fans will get on their backs. Patient play would work better if Bahre, Dougall and McGheehan were around. It's a shame as well that Diaby is out. We won't look too bad when he's back in place of probably Halme, with Dougall sat protecting the back four.
Luton did exactly what’s described here. Game was over in the first 15 minutes. Hopefully the management and players took note of what happened that game.
Concerns are that we dominate the opening exchanges, miss several chances and then get caught out with the inevitable sucker punch. Unfortunately I can't see anything other than a Derby win.
We might win if we could work out where the Derby team hotel is and they got a case of the Spurs 2006
Just checked that one. Lower odds than Thiam. (Incidentally, everyone around me, at the match, knows that when I slate a player, they inevitably produce a game changing moment of brilliance. So to speak ill of Thiam likely means he'll come off the bench and score the winner.... Actually, I'll stick 20 quid on Rimmer instead)
