Cant bring myself to support 'Leeds' in this new short format cricket comp. Leeds isn't representative of Yorkshire for me. Up the Mancs .... ;-)

Changed my mind now. Northern Superchargers sounds better and now we have Ben Stokes. Up the Northerners ;-)

'Northern bleeding superchargers'? it sounds like a battery pack from Halfords. Mind you 'Manchester originals' is even worse, like a mix between real ale lovers and Pringle boys.

"The Hundred" for anyone who watches T20 and thinks this feels 3 overs too long.

When Yorkshire drag themselves away from Leeds they get very good crowds for 4 day games - take the game to the people and the people will come. I for one will not be supporting Leeds anything and I like the city to work and drink in.

Slog it for those who don’t watch cricket. not wanted and not needed. Only tiny advantage I can see is that it is going to be on free to air tv.

Its ok 'Little London' for snap and ale, but its like a seperate state. It's definitely not in Yorkshire.

I’ll watch it because despite everything that surrounds the tournament, the cricket will actually be really good with the players they’ve got signed up for it. If it gets kids interested then it’ll have done it’s job, be interesting to see what the crowds and BBC viewing figures are like.

get all those kids interested.... in the crisp manufacturers emblazoned on all the shirts, a different one for each team. Not a great start.

The format of the game is:

    • 100 balls per innings
    • A change of ends after 10 balls
    • Bowlers deliver either five or 10 consecutive balls
    • Each bowler can deliver a maximum of 20 balls per game

    Killing cricket.

    Unnecessary new format.

    And destroying bowlers.
