    See what the spreadsheet comes up with for free agents...

    Urgently needed are leaders on the pitch, a spine in the team, even if it means a 34 year old +. Someone that leads on pitch, in dressing room and on the training picth. Off the top of my head, a Paul McShane or someone of his type to marshall the defense. A Joe Allen, Barry Bannon midfielder and an old head up front like we had with John Hendrie. Its not experience we are lacking, its more of leadership on the grass!

    These kids are trying, i dont doubt that, they lack the mental resilience of the championship and there doesnt appear to be anyone in the trenches with them!

    It has to be someone who can do all those things and be paid in accordance with our policy otherwise the players will throw him out of the trenches .
    I struggle to think who can or want to do such work that’s any good tbh , last thing we want is another Treacy or Lita to upset applecart even further .
    I’d say adjust the system stop the press , play to our strengths and hit on break .

    They want to.stick to the plan.

    We will probably be relegated onabout 25 points if we continue with it but at least they stuck to the plan

    Your last sentence is spot on but I wouldn't say 'no' to a decent target man. In our budget that person is probably overseas.

    Would like it to see some focus on defending as a priority personally.
    If the current squad can’t cope with a fluid approach to defending then drill into them zonal marking, which is much easier to teach.
    Not necessarily pretty and doesn’t tie in with our high press approach, but they need to stop the rot and build some confidence which even a couple of 0-0 would help at the moment
