The average age of our back 5 yesterday is 20.4

Back 5 being keeper and defenders. Probably a club record. In fact, I'd doubt that there have ever been many younger in the Football League's history.

Can the stattos among us find a line up that lowers that?

There must be a stat for the youngest team to get absolutely flattened.

I remember getting tonked at Willowgarth 14-1 once, but they were all our ages, so we had no excuses.

 

Kind of like putting some young kids who have only just passed their driving test into a sports car and expecting them to take on professional racing drivers.

 

Maybe we should change our walk.on music to something by Paul Hardcastle.

 

And build some VC tunnels under the opponents defences....

 

So when D S says we played like an under 23 team....well actually that is what we are in the main.
