Rename the club Barnsley Extinction Rebellion FC.

Make the ground fully renewable & refuse to deal with any companies that were against the interests of saving the globe. Surely one club doing that could be a success. I agree incomings & outgoings would have to be monitored closely, but sponsorship & support could be massive. Come on, throw a flame thrower at this advice...

What is Forest Green's niche? Don't they have something around being 'green'?

Great idea by the way. Someone in the lower non-leagues in a city suburb like Hackney would gain some right traction.

I thought you'd enjoy that. In itself it may bring punters in. Will they drop or will they stick? It's almost like a witch drowning. That used to bring the crowds in.

Just looking for ideas basically. With the loss of the messiah, we are a bit in limbo at the minute.

Getting a cult like movement to take over isnt going to work I am afraid.

Its not like its leaders are short of a bob or two but I cant see them investing. Sorry.

If you want.. see if you can find the XR protesters in the meat market at smithfields...

And then find the same folk in the maccies round the corner!

Saying that. That Orbital gig would have been good.

Id have been monged off my tits if id have been there having time of my life.
