    Google suggests he's a former private investigator and author of the renowned "Answers about the afterlife". Doesn't seem to have much experience developing younger players though so seems an odd choice.

    Ben Olsen has been head coach of DC United for 9 years. Why on earth would he come to Barnsley, probably for less salary, a team full of kids and no plans to bring in any experience?

    Now this is a weird one.......
    Sky wouldn't let me start a rumour by listing Ranieri, specially when he then rocked up at Sampdoria, so............I had a Google where Dane Murphy had been and as he'd spent some time at DC United, I gave them the name of Ben Olsen, now there's a rumour.

    Last year, with an estimated salary of $400,000, Olsen was among the lowest-paid coaches in Major League Soccer. The new contract, which is guaranteed through 2021, is expected to provide modest increases. It's unclear what type of bonuses and incentives were included.
