Wee McHecky is still about as popular as Eddie Longshanks. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink/to...23&share_fid=507&share_type=t&link_source=app
Was talking to a hibs fan on a job I've been working on he said the club have backed hecky but he insists on the one upfront and the signings have been garbage doige from forest green seems to be one he mentioned who is getting alot of stick. Hecky hasn't won since the opening day but we know how that one feels.
3rd bottom it a big underachievement for them. They average 17k and have one of the larger budgets in the Scottish Prem. They're already talking about who they want to replace him.
He’s an interesting one. While I don’t think he’s as good as some do on here, it certainly wasn’t a given that he’d continue what Johnson had set up and so credit to him there is some skill/ talent there. However, I think he lets himself down with his victim mentality. When things repeatedly have gone wrong ever since then I’ve never seen him change his tactics, admit he could be at fault or learn from mistakes. I believe this totally stunted his growth as a manager and I’ll be surprised if he gets any jobs as high profile as his current one without a serious attitude change. Admittedly, I do think the spark to all this was the January fire sale.
I have tickets to the Hibs Vs Livingstone match this Wednesday as we are in Scotland for half term. I’ve never been to a Scottish Prem game before so I am looking forward to it.
My mate is related to Robert the Bruce , my ancestors fought with William Wallace - a very tenuous link but one I thought I'd share
Dropped on his feet with Hibs Hecky has. He got the job because of the amount of coaching badges he has and not any success on the field. He tries to re-invent the wheel instead of keeping it simple. Look at what Bielsa has done with basically the same squad. Anyway, he should enjoy his time in beautiful Edinburgh while he can because his next job could be Grimsby .
No sure why he is struggling. He seems to have a decent squad to pick from. Fortunately for him Hearts are also not doing that well. But time might very well run out for him at Easter Road.
Hibs fan I spoke to again today said they play Livingston mid week anything less than a win and he will be gone. Bring him back to oakwell at least he is one of us he wouldnt save us but no one will we can sing "hes one of our own again"
I still wish him all the best and prefer to remember the sensational memories he helped give us rather than the unfortunate exit amid a situation to too dissimilar to what Stendel has experienced. He may well struggle to get a better job than Hibernian though and with the squad at his disposal, it does appear that he's struggling hugely. Hope he turns it around or ends up doing well elsewhere.
Barnsley: Took over a winning side built by Lee Johnson. Leeds: Struggled with a good side that the guy who took over from him has done much better with and without minimal changes. Hibernian: Gone backwards under him. Might as well have kept the previous bloke.
