Just because our end wasn’t quite full to capacity doesn’t mean it wasn’t overcrowded on the concourse. The set up at the back of that section of the stand is clearly not up to coping with the numbers. The incident in the Gents at half time proved that. Not everyone wants to go boozing on match days so the drinking options are not a consideration or even part of the match- day experience for them. 15 minutes to get back to my seat after a visit to the toilets is horrendous.

No I take your point there is every possibility the concourse isn't up to coping with that many fans...although after two years in the Prem with often sold out away followings you'd hope it would have been looked at, which is why I suggested crowd management and the movement/flow of people. The toilets were horrendous I agree. Our North Stand and Leppings Lane have had capacities reduced so perhaps it might be looked at or facilities altered there as well.

Having a good day out and a drink with friends is a consideration and a big part of my experience on match day and so I mentioned it. Not sure why that should be an issue? Surely varied contrubutions are welcome on a forum?

I don’t have an issue with anyone having a drink, I occasionally have a pre- match drink, I was just pointing out that the mayhem on the concourse isn’t lessened any by the fact that Huddersfield is a good day out for some.
