Are the proper questions going to be asked? Can't help but think an invitation only event will only encourage an happy clapper atmosphere.
No chance. At a guess it'll be vetted questions asked which will give the owners/CEO the opportunity to give out buzzwords and empty, vague promises to try appease the mob.
Several invitees will be asking for questions to be raised. Some already have. The supporters trust will also be inviting questions. Those questions will be asked I’m 100% sure of that. Whether you like the answers is another matter entirely. Someone on Twitter today suggested that the invitees should boycott the meeting because the club haven’t engaged with the fans. Boycotting an engagement meeting due to lack of engagement? Classic
Has anyone on here contacted the board and expressed their/our concerns? I remember Allan Crawford (regular caller on RS) saying that he'd had a phone call from Crazy Conway, and that he was really impressed, thought the club was in good hands. Wonder if his opinion has changed since then.
I went to the last one and asked loads of questions, but I'm not a member of the Supporters Trust. I guess that means I won't get an invite this time?
Did you read the last Q&A? I felt like they were trying to sell me a used car. Doesn’t matter what questions are asked, they will take the slimy politician approach of answering the question they wish had been asked.
In fairness they aren't going to come out and say we don't care about the fans are they? As you say they will try and dodge the tough questions with platitudes.
I suspect it will be a bit like PMQT in the commons. Questions to be submitted in advance. I think the cricketing term is " Bowling Pies".
I'm sure they'll say they're still fully committed to the policy and that they believe the squad is good enough to maintain its Championship status. The interesting thing will be how they explain the complete lack of communication with the fans.
Yes regardless of the transfer activity and their stance on this subject. The main question for would be their interaction (or lack of it)around the lifeblood of this club..."the supporters" Without who, there would be no club at all. Do they continue radio scilence?....and do they understand the frustrations of the stakeholders of this club....this is not the 80's, we need information and not flannel.
Given the silence so far, if Daniel Stendels departure has legal ramifications, you would think any questions on that matter will be blocked. Just been looking through Saturday's programme. Huddersfields editor gives DS a mention especially for his achievements last season. Just a pity he's not recieved a suitable thank you for what he accomplished in our own matchday mag.
The Tykes TV mob are all guns blazing on youtube but when they got their moment in the sun they squandered it with inane questions they became star struck by their five minutes of fame and cozy boardroom chat with Conway and Stendel. I'm not slagging anybody off. However, being all guns blazing online is one thing but doing it in person is another.
Tbf to them though there was no need to be critical at that time . We were riding on the crest of a wave and our signings were promising to pay off . And Daniel was in their company
The point I was trying to make is you can be all I'm going to say this and I'm going to do that. However, when you are face to face with another human being it's another kettle of fish.
Yes i get that but my point is there was no need to be critical or over inquisitive at that time . I dare say armed with the knowledge( or lack of) they have now and were invited to conduct an interview the tone and questions would be different.
Glad to know that Huddersfield haven't tried to deny his existence. The only matches that can be talked about start with Swansea after all.
That's harsh. They were given that meeting without much notice when everything in the garden was rosy.
