December 12 .

Could be , I think they’re awaiting amendments ,
Boris has chosen the 12th as he’s afraid of the student vote as it will be organised before the twelfth and after 12th many will be on back packs or whatever they have planned for Christmas shutdown.

 

Could be interesting given the split on Brexit. My immediate guess is another hung parliament with the opposition Labour/Snp/lib Dem, even more diluted.
My fear for Barnsley is we return a Brexit party MP.

 

they can always go for a postal vote as I do.

 

Unfortunately this GE is all about brexit. People will be voting on where each individual candidate stands on brexit. Leave or remain. Tactical voting will take on a bigger meaning this time.
The outcome is going to be very difficult to predict.

 

Will ID be required to vote at this one or are Labour still dragging their heels over it?

 

But they won’t they’re students and the Lib Dem’s usually have good support from them.

 

If it does then I hope everyone that votes for that party suffers as a result of their stupidity. Unfortunately, that will probably mean everyone else in the town does too.

 

I really hope it doesnt come to pass, certainly for the first time in my life I feel my Vote in Barnsley may actually count.

 

What so the people who are suffering from Tory austerity and are in hostels or homeless can’t have a say ?
Never needed ID before and the amount of fraud in that area has been minuscule . The amount of people being excluded would suit the Tories .

The amount of people in Barnsley angered by Tory Austerity was unmatched at any time since Thatcher so much so that the puppet Lib Dem’s lost their deposit in a by election .
But yet they’ll vote for a party that would take this Town back to Victoria times because they have one issue .
The Tories have given the working class of this country hell for the last nine years and all of a sudden boris is the working mans friend ? Yeah right !!

Id is required in NI, to collect a parcel, to open a bank account, to drive, to claim benefits, to buy beer (if you are fresh faced enough) to attend political party conferences, to go Glastonbury, to travel overseas, So why not to vote?

I know there are a couple of high profile labour staff/supports with convictions for voter fraud, i dont know any Tories who have been. Is there any?

 

Unfortunately we have hords of myopic sheep all fed on right wing propaganda - that somehow all our countries problems will be resolved by leaving the EU. Meanwhile chronic neglect and lack of investment everywhere but especially in the North gets pushed to the back. There's a thread about the state of the trains on Saturday - I challenge anyone to get a local train in the South and find a single one of those old Pacer trains anywhere. Same people complaining about the state of the railways want to vote in a lying sh1tbag who had never been North of Oxford until he was elected leader of the Tories - or worse still they'll vote for an ex-investment banker who has stated in the past he wants to get rid of the NHS - a man who has absolutely no clue about the lives of ordinary people, and what's more could not care less about them, but only wishes to pander to petty prejudices and stoke hate and division to cash in on his disaster capitalism.

 

Oh they’d been a few ! So much so that if the referendum hadn’t just been advisory some of them in the leave campaign would be doing time.
There’s no need for ID to vote in this country .
The notion is only from Tory hardliners who know that mostly vulnerable people will be excluded .
I don’t know where this had been a big issue do you ?

 

If Barnsley returns a Brexit Party MP it will be the darkest day in the town's history, I will be utterly ashamed.

 

Despite everything I still think tribal loyalty to Labour will trump the Brexit Jeremys in Barnsley.

 

I know that this may be difficult for the hard of thinking but is it not sort of certain now that we are coming out of the EU.
On that basis why would anyone vote for the Brexit Party who as far as I know only have one agenda.
Obviously won`t stop some people!

And why would mostly vulnerable people be excluded? Especially in this day and age.

Its been an issue on several occasions, most recently the Peterborough Bye Election where allegations were rife and a convicted vote rigger kept popping up and theres a convicted fraudster knocking around Corbyns head office.
